A daughter is
beauty and grace,
an angry face,
accuser and
finder of fault.
She is a
healer of wounds and
soother of aches,
cutting me to the bone.

I love art in all its forms. I write poetry and short fiction. I once told my brother that I wrote because I couldn't draw or paint. I am also an avid amateur photographer. My dream is to one day be able to support my family with one or both of these endeavors. <br><br>I am the mother of two teenagers who have just this fall surpassed me in height by 2 - 3 inches each! It's hard looking up at your children all of a sudden like this.

An opportunity to learn more about writing and photography and to make good friends doing it. I hope to grow both as a writer and photographer through the experience and feedback that I receive here.
